Angel Qinan is a Filipino-American actress who stars Act Like A Woman, Starlet Diner and You’ll Be OK. Angel started her transition "late at 30" after obstacles in family acceptance and immigrating to the United States. Shortly after transition, Angel started acting, modeling and hosting as part of her advocacy for transgender visibility. "My dream before was just to be a woman. Now, I could dream beyond that." Angel speaks at Broadly at The Vice. Since then, Angel booked commercials, appeared as lead on short films and student films, walked the runway, acted on theater, performed stand up comedy, and more.
SAG Eligible. Represented by Central Artists Talent Agency for film, TV and commercial. Angel's training includes UCLA Professional Programs: Acting for The Camera, Groundlings, Casting Director Mark Teschner, Acting Coach Elizabeth Gamza and Megan McNulty, and Killian's Workshop.
MODEL : In 2015, Angel Qinan was recognized for being the first openly transgender model to walk the runway at Sacramento Fashion Week, as featured in The FilAm Magazine and GMA News. She also became a pioneer model to join the first all transgender agency in the world, as featured in PBS News Hour, and Elle Magazine. Her runway experience includes New York Fashion Week: Cabin by Stevie Boi (Logo), Nga Wun Mok Oxford Fashion Studio; Floresca USA in Los Angeles Fashion Week; and Maisha Bahati in Sac Fashion Week.
